I never really intended to stop blogging and then when I realized I had, I didn’t really intend to start back. But…it seems God and my husband have conspired against me. 
Jarod has mentioned it to me several times over the past year and then in the last 6 months, I’ve been asked about my blog several times – some by total strangers. So after trying to way it all out from every angle and praying about whether or not I should add anything else to my very full life, I’ve decided to take up blogging again. And I’m so happy about it!
In an attempt to keep everything balanced, my darling and I have joined forces at www.everydayponderings.wordpress.com. Not that I’ll never post anything here, but having become one with another blogger (www.preacherboy80.xanga.com) we thought it a good idea to share the responsibilities of a family blog and we are loving it! Please come over for a visit.
Why wordpress and not xanga? In a nutshell, advertising and compromise. It’s easier to find ‘crud’ here at xanga, especially on their home page than what we’ve ever seen on wordpress (not that it’s not there, it’s just not so obvious) and we don’t want to be responsible for someone stumbling because they went looking for our blog. Add to that the advertising on the side of the free blogs here at xanga and well, this old site had 2 xs. I don’t have the heart to shut it down…just too many memories, but it’s time to make a switch.
In the years since my last post here much has happened and there’s simply not time to fill you in. Please come over to www.everydaypondering.wordpress.com for a glimpse of the faithful work God is continuing to do.
