Our mini-vacation had an unplanned, but extremely merciful and exciting start! At 4:36am on Thursday morning, Sept. 7, we got the call that my cousin was headed to the hospital to deliver baby Kaitlyn. Why is this such a big deal? After 5 years of marriage, Kaitlyn was greatly longed for and eagerly anticipated. They had planned to induce labor that evening after we would’ve already left. None of us were happy about missing her birth, but with Daddy starting a new job the next Monday, this was the last and only weekend we could go – there was no postponing it. Momma and I set about quietly begging God to let her come on and SHE DID! What a marvelous Lord – down to the smallest detail!
We spent 2 days down in Valdosta, Ga at the Wild Adventures Theme park!! It was a blast. We highly recommend it – very family friendly.

We had a wonderful trip makin’ memories and enjoying each other. We played hard, slept late and ate alot! Every family should have so much fun!!
