Ps. 42:5- a little of 6    Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me?  hope thou in God:  for I shall yet praise Him for the help of His countenance.  O my God, my soul is cast down within me: therefore will I remember…

This portion of Scripture seems (and is) so somber and yet it’s truth is so necessary.  Over the past 2 weeks, as I’ve wrestled some issues out before the Lord, I was called to remember His past faithfulness and what started out as frustration ended with praise.  I realized freshly the importance of writing down even the smallest blessings, the evidences of God’s favor.  They’re all around me and seeing them for what they are makes God all the more real.  If you’re struggling with anything I would strongly suggest that you try to rebuild the last several months.  Look for what God has done, especially the small things.  Trusting Him through the frustrations of today will then be a little easier because He will seem a little bigger.  Hope in God and remember…

Pr. 12:28  In the way of righteousness is life: and in the pathway thereof there is no death.

Isn’t that a GREAT verse?  I almost feel like I read it yesterday for the first time!
