Well, our sweet girl is one week old today. My, how the time is passing. It feels like maybe 3 days, maybe. She has settled into our home very sweetly. She’s already gained back and passed her birth weight, for which we are extremely grateful to the Lord! Lily Beth has started scheduling herself (she seems to be a baby that likes routine) to eat every 3 hours through out the day and every 4-5 hours at night. I can’t believe I’m only getting up once a night. She’s already showing signs of being a “night person” which thrills her Daddy. She has a good set of lungs on her with a rather deep voice, but she doesn’t abuse it too often. What joy a new baby brings to a home! Here’s a few pictures from the last couple of days:
Lillian meets her Grandma on Monday night. Jarod’s mom and three of his younger brothers came to visit and pitch in where I needed help. It’s been a pleasure having them here. Zeke is thrilled with having so many uncles to play with and Grandma to love on to boot!

There’s some wonderful, wonderful pictures here! I MUST get Daniel to show me how to send them somewhere or whatever you do to get me some printed. Enjoyed the other morning. She is a doll! (I kind of think her whole family is, but don’t tell anybody).
YAYAYAYA!!!! Great post!! Love the smiley picture at the end…very sweet. 🙂
Good post darlin’! I love my family! You are so precious to me, my love.
Followed over from Jarod’s blog (I’m an old pal of his and the rest of the Hinton kids)… but I must say that you have a very beautiful family! I saw Jarod’s post first and it brought me to tears of happiness 🙂 And you look great! Also as a side note… my daughter was the same way Lily is now, she set herself on a schedule that we followed (because we’re more baby-led when it comes to feedings/nursing), and at 9pm every night she would put herself to sleep and was sleeping through the night at 7 weeks which put a scare in me (from being used to waking up once a night, and waking up one morning to finding out it was 7am and she hadn’t woke up). She was more laid back and relaxed during the day. She’s 3 now (turned 3 on July 31st), and is still the same way. I’m not sure if it’s a girl thing or not, but I’ve heard of more infant girls being more into routine than infant boys. But anyways, congratulations! 🙂
Love your blog and you!
