What a blessing to have parents who took their vows serious and remained true through the bliss and blisters of life these past 29 years!
What a privilege to be their daughter and to witness first hand their faithfulness and love.
What a joy to sort through pictures and find more like this one than anything else. I don’t think there’s ever been a time when we’ve attempted to take pictures of Daddy and Momma that they’ve not erupted into laughter!
Happy Anniversary, Daddy and Momma! You are greatly loved! We rejoice before the Lord for your steadfast example! May the Lord of love bless you with many more wonderful years. May your grandchildren’s grandchildren know the honor with which you held your commitment and recognize the blessing that’s fallen upon their lives because of you and your obedience.

WHAT A NEAT POST!!!! Enjoy your parents greatly. I didn’t have parents like this. Be really greatful!!!! You don’t know exactly what you have until you don’t have it. Be thanksful that you do have it. I never did. Have a blessed day!!
Yes, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to a wonderful, godly couple (who gave me an AWESOME friend)!!! Anna, how neat that LAUGHTER is a great part of your heritage from them ~ I loved seeing that in these pictures here!
Wonderful post, Anna! I’m glad you posted those exact pictures! They are some of my favorites…
What a great post! And I can truthfully and honestly say that you DO have two very special parents who have passed on a Godly heritage for their children and grandchildren and all those grandchildren to come. I am very sure that your parents are greatly looking forward to all those GRANDchildren to come!!!
The last picture reminds me of that night we had our first “neighborhood” Christmas party. The night that we had the light display in y’all’s yard…. Your mother bent over laughing when she walked out the door. What a hoot!!!
oh, how happy anniversaries are!! CONGRATULATIONS on 29 years! It really is great to be able to have parents who stay fallen in love and who show it daily. Hope their day was great!

“Love is a beautiful thing.”
It makes us smile and gives a feeling that only God can bless us with.
Happy Anniversary
Keep on smiling, cause when you’re smiling
the whole world smiles with you.
Hope they had a good Anniversary! I thought about them and Mike Wood first thing Monday morning….this weird little brain of mine;)
Thanks for the encouragement…I feel like I have left all my Xanga friends out of this special time, but there is so much to do!Hopefully, I’ll get caught up after the wedding…hopefully…Great picture! Looks like ya’ll are doing well…
@Marvelanne – Yes, we are doing well! God is good and therefore life is wonderful. It seems like just a few months ago you, Jarod and I were all discussing predestination and other such heavy stuff here and then we got serious and married. Now we have the privilege of watching God work out His love story in your life through xanga and it’s grand! (Isn’t God’s creativity amazing? He truly does love a good romance!) Looking forward to the wedding pictures with great anticipation. Enjoy your last week in your father’s home – it’ll be a sweet memory forever.
One word of unsolicited advice – as harried as the wedding day may be, make time for a few minutes of quiet just you and the Lord. I woke up super early the day of our wedding and couldn’t go back to sleep. “Something” pulled me to my quiet time and peace just fell over me. I already wasn’t nervous, but there was something about putting God first even on that most special of days…from that moment on I was aware of His presence with me through out the day in such a way that I still can hardly talk about without crying for the joy of it all. It’s very hard to explain… I hope this makes sense.
Blessing on you, my xanga friend!!
Good post Anna; I’m behind catching up with things. Love the baby on the Jumper too. Our Jonathon loved his.Uncle Jim
